Hi, it's so nice to meet you!

I'm Lis, a self-taught baker with over 25 years of experience baking and creating. Many years ago, I was moved to continue my grandmother's tradition of baking and gifting holiday cookies. At Christmas, each of our family members would receive a rustic tin filled with a variety of these coveted treats. Her cookies were so loved, uplifting, and simply *the best*.

While also baking year-round, I kept creatively inspired by using seasonal ingredients and aligning with nature’s rhythms. I have a strong belief in the importance of natural and organic food, so this cookie tradition quickly took on my own values.

In developing Burrow & Hearth, I wanted to ensure each of you feels like a loving friend has gifted you something wholesome and special. I hope you find comfort, warmth, and sweetness here!
